La Ferme de Kerdroual and La Ferme de l'Odet : an alliance born of a passion shared for the land and taste
The team at La Ferme de l'Odet and Gwenaël Le Berre, a farmer at Ferme de Kerdroual, have forged a bond based on shared values - a love of the land, respect for animals and the demand for high-quality meat. A meeting on a rugby pitch has given rise to a solid partnership based on gastronomy!
A exceptional meat, born in the heart of nature
In Gourlizon, just a few minutes from Quimper, Ferme de Kerdroual has been rearing Aberdeen Angus cows (more commonly known as «Black Angus») for several generations, in a setting of hedged meadows and an oceanic climate that allows them to graze almost all year round.
Since 2016, the farm has been certified «Organic Farming»: the cattle are fed exclusively on grass, hay or wraps grown on their own land, without the use of chemical fertilisers or systematic antibiotics.
This extensive farming method, which respects the animal and its environment, gives the meat rich marbling, natural tenderness and a deep flavour: taste qualities sought after by demanding connoisseurs... and gourmets!
A trust between producers and restaurateurs, to offer you the very best
The team at La Ferme de l'Odet is proud to bring you this organic Angus meat from the Kerdroual farm, just a few kilometres from our kitchen. This local partnership embodies our commitment to short distribution channels, transparency and the promotion of Brittany's agricultural heritage.
When you order a Black Angus entrecôte from the Ferme de l'Odet, you're not only savouring an exceptional, tender, flavoursome, marbled meat, but also the fruit of a process in which respect for the animal, for nature and for tradition are at the heart of the process.
More than just a supplier, Ferme de Kerdroual is a trusted partner for us, a bond born on a rugby pitch and strengthened by shared convictions.
From the meadow to your plate
When you lunch or dine at La Ferme de l'Odet, you're doing much more than enjoying a good meal: you respect animals, the land and taste.
You are supporting local farming on a human scale and honouring the tradition and expertise of farmers who work hard every day to produce exceptional meat.
